People act like Conor moved up two weight classes and was the first champ to do so.

1. He shouldn't even be at 145, he damn near kills himself to make it

2. Hes not, Anderson moved up to 205 from 185 which is nearly the same weight difference as Conors move up

Big differences though are Silva moved up and fought Forrest who in his last fight had lost the LHW title, whereas Diaz beat a mid ranked Michael Johnson

And Anderson smoked Forrest in two minutes while Conor got tapped out

Conors a savage and was easily winning the first, i just think Diaz out conored Conor

Don't worry, we haven't forgotten.

Another "LOOK AT ME!!!!!!!!" post. Same crap has been posted 435 times in the last week and a half. Let it go, or put it in one of the other active threads.

Aldo/barao almost killed himself etc they all do.

Conor has never missed weight at 145. Isn't that the criteria for being a 145 lb fighter?

Right?

I forgot the thread topic fuck!

And rumble johnson WW to HW now thats a jump!!!

only way that "he was winning in the first" bullshit works is if the fight ended in the first.

Silva didnt go after the champ at 205 either.
1. Machida was Andersen's friend and training partner so they weren't going to fight.

2. They were talking about a possible Shogun vs Andersen for the LHW title. The whole BTT vs Chute Box thing was going to be rehatched. Shogun messed up by being smoked be Jones.

3. It would have been stupid for the UFC to make Jones fight Andersen when there was so many other big name contenders (Machida, Rampage, Henderson, Rashad, etc) right at LHW. Why have a champ tie up two divisions unnecessarily?

I think Conor can't make 145 which is why they (the UFC) are excusing him from defending his title. They need to him with a title to stay relevant so they are trying their hardest to get him a title in another division.

Champ v champ is a lot more exciting than any challenger and bigger payday for the UFC, if they fighters wanted to I am sure the UFC would have done it.
This whole tie up two divisions thing is always going to happen no matter what, there will always be someone out there to fight as long as other fighters are fighting. The onus is on the champ, if you believe you can take out the higher weight class champ you go for it.

UFC listens to conor because he is a huge draw and he wants the big fights which makes UFC more money so its a symbiotic relationship.
