Let's be real, Roy Nelson is the man to beat JDS, if it can be done.

Not too optimistic about Cain's chances, God bless him, but I think Roy still has a shot. Roy's striking is getting better ( throw enough over hand rights, you're gonna get good at landing them), plus he put together some nice combos on Meathead.

I think Roy is pretty underated because of his general apathetic and cocky attitude. Healthy Roy beats Frank Mir. To beat JDS you gotta have a chin, and Roy's got it, plus he can learn from his mistakes. Werdum would be be my second choice to beat JDS, but he doesn't have the chin to do it.

    Thoughts?

You said lets be real then followed it with something unrealistic. Cain has a much better chance than Roy ever will.

Roy almost got JDS down and landed some bombs on him. Roy is actually one of the few vets who shows improvement still at this point in his career. I could see him catching JDS or eeking out a decision

Roy has the power but JDS has already proved how much better his technical striking is than Roy's. He has better hand speed and technique. The only chance Roy would have is landing that perfect shot on JDS' chin.

Expected White belt TC even tho I hate people who comment on the belt system like it matters.

That's how fucking retarded this is.

Werdum made Roy look like crap standing.

It is amazing how much hype a fighter coming of a win gets around here.

Is this a joke? Nelson only hope for holding UFC gold is if the UFC adopts an intercontinental heavy weight championship directly stolen from the WWE.

Yeah, it definitely won't be Cormier, Overeem or Velasquez.
