I agree with you there, that's just being a shitty human being. My problem with the shaming thing is that once there's a certain 'anti-shaming movement' geared toward a particular cause, then anything negative that's said about that cause is immediately considered shaming, no matter how rational or logical it is, and that's what infuriates me.

Well, in that context, what is really being said, is that it's not OK to bully or randomly insult people in a public manner. Have some damn manners. If you have nothing nice to say.... These are all notions of the same idea that have existed for a very long time.
