He wasn't fat shaming and I don't think he was being (purposefully) racist. He was talking shit about the guy who clearly didn't take the fight seriously. If he would have said he'd been eating cheeseburgers and pepsi no one would have said anything. His lacky saying purple drink was racist however.

You apparently do give a shit since you made a thread whining about it. Rogan wasn't fat shaming. He was critiquing someone who competed in a high level MMA organization and gassed out in the first round.

It's unfortunate that you've been brainwashed into believing 'fat-shaming' is a verb. I accept it as a term only.

So while there are numerous laws discriminating against cigarette smokers with extreme prejudice (e.g. can't smoke inside anywhere, health warning labels, etc.), there are ZERO laws discriminating against the obese (how about if your BMI > 50%, you have to buy two seats on a commercial flight, because nobody should have to be cramped next to your fat ass because you can't give up burgers and pizza).

Why would that be? Because only about 20% of the population smokes cigarettes while the majority of the population is obese (North American numbers). It's easy to ostracize a minor segment of society, but it's quite unpopular to ostracize most of society.

Nobody will bat an eye if you wrinkle your nose and start complaining about bad smell when someone walks in from a cigarette break, but god forbid you say something like "shouldn't you be taking the stairs?" when a 450 lbs guy steps into the elevator and forces everyone to make room. The latter statement would make you a total asshole whereas hating smokers makes you a champion of all that is good within society.

Rogan talked about at shaming before. He doesn't shy away from it, thinks everyone should call out others for living unhealthy lifestyles, and fat people should take responsibility of their health instead of celebrating obesity.

However, like pretty much always, Rogan is misinformed and speaking out of his butt. Here's a video showing peer-reviewed research result on why women are healthy at any size that completely debunks everything Rogan said.

It's not fat shaming. It's taking someone who is supposed to be a professional athlete and calling them out when they show up out of shape.

The Packers fat shamed Eddie Lacy b/c he deserved it. His fat affected his play. If your fat affects performance in a negative way then you deserve to get called out on it.

Amazed that anyone could possibly see this as a double-standard.

Here's a hint: If there was such a thing as "second-hand calories" and they were proven to be dangerous to the health of the non-fatties in the vicinity, society's response to smokers and society's response to fat people could then be equally compared.

Fat shaming is good for society; especially women. Too many feminists and SJWs want to make "fat beautiful" which is nonsense and unhealthy.
