Lesnar returning was all about putting the afterburners on McGregor and his little rebellion. He tried to use Floyd but it didn't work. Dana and the boys pulled out their big guns and essentially iced the little Irishman... Sticking him on UFC 202.

Game, set, match.

You just realized that now?

Welcome to a month ago.
But the Lesnar announcement was the killing blow. The Nuke Dana and the boys had up their sleeves. There's only ONE guy who is a bigger draw than McGregor, and that's Brock Lesnar.

Fair enough.

iced the little irishman lol

Nate is the one who iced the little irishman, lucky for Conor the ref was there to save his life, literally

All these intrigues make me sick. Just scrap, goddammit!

I hope somewhere McGreggor is crying

I mean, people were saying UFC 200 was ruined because of McGregor being removed. Now, I'm pretty sure this is the first thread about him compared to 100 Lesnar ones. Absolute irrelevancy. Dana and the boys playing chess. McGregor playing checkers.

Imagine the UFC is a board and McGregor is on the beach.

Truthfully, the only guy that could probably successfully pull what McGregor tried to do, is Brock... Just because he transcends any one single world/sport/universe. That's why he's been able to live like a King and negotiate his own terms with everything WWE, and now it seems the UFC. Conor has and never will have that power. It's really understated what Lesnar has been able to accomplish. I'd compare it to how The Rock went from WWE superstar to the highest paid actor in Hollywood. Transcendent greatness.

Serves him right. Brawk is a big boy, and McPaddy is a manlet with Napoleon complex who will be forgotten once Aldo or Edgar beat him and restore the natural order of things.

The UFC didn't screw Conor. Conor screwed Conor.

Mcgregor transcends the sport, is the greatest of all time, made the ufc 400 million in one event, could hang with mayweather in a boxing match, and lost to Nate Diaz because of the massive size difference despite him saying size doesn't matter which he proved by beating Hafthor Bjornsson in a “fight".

At least, that is what I have learnt from reading this forum.

it was all a set up,, having McGregor on another card means McGregor makes more money,, in ufc 200 a lot of fighters will get big bucks and that leaves McGregor with less purse,, Danas and McGregor are guaranteed making millions on ufc 202

I don't feel like that's exactly true.

Conor's got more than a fair bit of self-promotion from "retiring" and Mayweather out of the fiasco, which is great for his brand.

Would Conor get PPV points or a flat fee? Because if he did get PPV points he might have really cashed in on 200.

and the time out may help him with his Diaz preparation.

Conor got exactly what he wanted + more time to prepare.

Conor is the most boring, overrated, lamest champ in ufc history

I wonder how long ago did the UFC knew Lesnar would be on the 200 card...
