Poirier vs Ferg is the better fight, as well as the most logical one since Tony is kinda a champion and Nate is fringe top 10.

Winner should get the next chot at whoever is champ.

He's not trying to drop out.

This is just his roundabout way of promoting himself

    and it's working

    This.

I would be surprised if Nate really does drop out. He does this same thing or something similar, for like every fight.

To my knowledge Nate has never dropped or pulled out of a fight for any reason. He may turn down fights, but once its official he fights 100% of the time

Honestly I thought it was funny that Nate came back; not the “hell yeah we have been missing that dude” feeling that I’ll get wth Conor and Ferguson, etc. Nate is a novelty.

If Conor does clip Kalabib early and wins it then you really think his next fight will be Dustin or Tony.. do you even UFC bro.

    {<huh}

    Dustin or Tony

Khabib may fight Poirier or Tony if he wins. If Conor wins, there is no way he is fighting either guy.

I also think Tony vs Poirier is a more intriguing fight. Inserting Nate Diaz is a head scratcher

Nate doesnt deserve the fight anyways

I see why Dustin would take it as most the top LWs look at it as an easy payday.

Wasnt Guida calling out Nate badly? That woulda been a better “off the couch” fight to come back to for him.

The assembly hall was dead before Nate walked into that place, things came alive when he showed up...people love to see him fight, and Porier better have some good leg kicks because if he makes it solely a boxing match, I got Nate on that shit all day long.

They are inserting Nate to (potentially) set up the trilogy with Conor as a title fight at 155. If Nate can beat Poirier, a legit contender, it will make giving him the next title shot seem more legitimate.

Nate isn't dropping out, he's promoting himself.

Only Nate can manage to steal some attention away the day Khabib/Conor is announced. Lol

Yeah, Nate really brought it on the microphone. What a stellar self-promoter! It's so hard to understand why this dedicated MMA fight salesman never got paid before Conor handed him his first of two winning lottery tickets.

good idea. replace a prolific, exciting draw like Nate that everyone has wanted to see back in the cage with a guy who will probably break his fucking shin kicking a telephone pole for his Instagram story a week before the fight

    OP, you are smart.

I would rather Nate drop out and Dustin fight a stuffed animal.

I can't believe people are interested in Nate Diaz.

Dustin's talking about dropping out too though. Neither want to be playing back-up to the Conor vs. Khabib fight.

If Nate drops out, Kevin Lee should definitely land the fight over Ferguson. Lee's the one who needs to beat a couple top contenders again to show he deserves a title shot. Plus we don't even know if Tony will be healed enough to fight again by November 3rd. If he is, he'll likely be calling out the winner of McGregor/Khabib.
