You doing far too much time jumping for me man, 2day here & now Werdum too big, athletic, and newly skilled. I'm as nostalgic as any old schooler, but I'm also realistic Fedor would show heart Werdum would show new youth with skill.

Fedor is more then likely still unwillingly to do anything with the UFC because he wanted to co-promote with M-1 and the UFC shut that down fast. Honestly I dont' blame them. If Fedor wants to fight in the UFC he knows what he has to do, leave M-1 behind..

Fedor's proven to be more technical in his last fights. Werdum is hardly "young"
IDk about his ground game but his striking has gotten much better and conservative particularly the leg kicks. He knows he's past his prime to just head-hunt but still hits like a mule and that makes him dangerous.

Werdum would most likely beat Fedor again. Still, giving Fedor a one-off shot against Werdum would be recklessly stupid. The fight simply wouldn't generate enough money to justify the risk.

That's stupid, give him a 1 fight deal who cares. Not like he's got a lot left in the tank at this point anyways. Maybe he'll sign on for another fight after if he wins.
