We're in a global world now and there's no way around it ya goofs. Don't know why y'all keep bitching about globalism you CTist. If we are gonna keep this a relatively peaceful world then we have to keep working together but improve relationships between countries. If anything, countries with certain resources should produce certain products and we work as one planet. Stupid fucks. Glad y'all not in charge.

The extreme end of claiming all international trade should end is maybe getting into CT territory but honestly I think there is a good argument that large amounts of globalisation are really focused on maximising profits for a small minority.

I would hope going forward from this there is more public acknowledgement that serious events impacting society as a whole CAN happen, a lot of the problem when it comes to issues like climate change is IMHO theres a certain sense of unreality to it for a lot of the population of the west who've never experienced a society wide disruption before.
