Lesnar fought in some bum league before the UFC?

regardless of how things turned out, it's pretty crazy that they let him fight frank mir in the ufc after exactly one fight. the word that comes to mind is irresponsible.

The win over Carwin was legit. Carwin lost that fight by punching himself out of gas and gave Lesnar an easy win.

Mir was an ok win.

Couture was old, frail, and a LHW and was outweighed by 40+ lbs.

The Hunt fight was BS, because USADA's testing exemption enabled Brock to juice his ass off for the fight.
 
Second fight against Frank Mir, a Top 10 if not Top 5 HW at the time. Yeah, real bum.
 
Lesnar accomplished so much in such a short time.

If he got into MMA earlier or never had diverticulitis he could have had a long career.

I hope Jack Swagger does well. He's a former amateur wrestler and pro wrestler.

This is what happens when you let idiots post.

The Mir rematch was a great win. Lesnar lost the first fight, spent some time studying both catch and BJJ, and totally destroyed Mir's half guard in his fifth MMA fight. "Old, frail Couture" had recently beaten two full-size HWs: champion Sylvia and the same Gonzaga who kicked Cro-Cops head off. Just surviving the Carwin onslaught (regardless of whether the fight should've been stopped) was very impressive.

It seems many of the posts here came from people who were in diapers when Lesner smoked three legit Heavyweight Champions. The Carwin fight was a barn-burner. He won the title and successfully defended the title.
Had about two years of MMA training when he won the title the first time.
I expect that D.C. will beat him, but who knows. You cannot underestimate a huge athletic freight train

crazy, and he was winning that fight too. been wild if lesnar had started training mma fight out of college

Goldberg was kinda funny, but simultaneously kinda disappointing for his whole announcing career.

I know Lesnar's technical side sucks, but a couple times it was fun to watch that roided monster throw down
