So who is this mystery man that Elon Musk is pissed off at and why has he not gone through traditional screening like other members of this administration. The best part he was not born in this country and there is questions about his citizen status.

My father worked for companies like Cyanamid, Schering and Ayerst. He retired as a VP for a company that brought drugs to market globally and he had fifty years of experience in the field. He left Schering when they began advertising directly to consumers, which he felt was unethical

Personally, I managed a team that controlled data access for clinical trials for Merck Frost; Level IV tech support. One mistake could invalidate a trial that cost tens of millions, I was well aware of the scrutiny and the stakes.

Yes, there's corruption in the CDC, the same way there's corruption in literally any agency that regulates any industry or directs any policy. The private sector pays a lot more than the government, and regulatory experience and contacts are invaluable to these industries. The reasonable attitude about this would be concern about reducing the corruption, not writing off the agency. Maybe the reasonable approach would be a five-year ban on working in any industry you've regulated.

How did you feel about Trump letting Musk gut several agencies that were investigating his companies? Do you not see that as corruption at the highest level possible?

No, you can't chalk it up to everyone is corrupt. Big pharma is in a special category all of their own. Not only have they got their people in our agencies, they have bought our politicians, bought the media, bought the doctors, etc.

You don't think my close personal relationship to someone with five decades of experience at an extremely high level in this industry separates me from guys who get their information from YouTube channels? You seem to trust Catturd, for crying out loud.

Do I know in advance something bad is going to happen? No, but when media goes insane about something, I ask him how much truth is there and he gives me his opinion. He spent fifty years at the mercy of these agencies and isn't inclined to be overly charitable with them.

Yes, everyone is corrupt. That's temptation and human nature. It's why communism fails and democracy without strict regulation is corporate feudalism that can only survive with an oppressed serf class.

If you think big pharma is in a special category, how do you feel about the fossil fuel industry, which is an order of magnitude more powerful? The sitting President of the USA is on tape telling them if they supported his candidacy, they could have whatever they wanted. He was elected and regulatory agencies have been crippled.

They're despicable as well. I think big pharma is worse for what they did with the opioids, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I've seen a lot f chatter from people who supported Trump now saying they regret their vote, they didn't get what they voted for, they trusted Trump but now feel betrayed (LOL at that one)...

What exactly did these folks think they were voting for?

He did keep a number of his promises regarding tariffs and deportations, but now that people are seeing the horrifying results they claim that is not what they voted for.
