Got that book sitting on my computer desk right now
Been sitting there for at least 5 years
Been saying Im gonna finish it but its pretty damn slow, prolly never will

I read that book a few years ago and I had to force myself to finish it. I hated almost every minute of reading it. I guess they could make an alright movie out of it if they take a lot of theatrical leeway and fill-in the blanks for all the stuff HH Holmes was doing.

I'm sure they'll employ some artistic license to make Burman the hero.

That's what I'm thinking. I read this book in college and I can't even remember the ending but I picture the movie ending as Holmes being stopped and shot by Burman as he's about to kill the generic love interest.

Scorsese needs to stop with this shit and focus on The Irishman. I've been dying for that to come out for 4-5 years now.
