I thought Leon had won 10 fights in a row. I thought this award is supposed to be for cinderella types.

Leon's KO is one of the greatest moments ever, but, imo, it wasn't the best comeback or Knockout. The fact that it was a serious contender in both categories (as well as Upset) is what makes it one of the best moments ever.

I think Schnell had the best comeback, and I think Chandler had the best KO.

Someone said Jiri should have gotten it. HOW tho?
Well Glover was on his way to winning that fight going into the fifth before he got finished, but Jiri wasn’t getting outclassed or something.
So wouldn’t call that a comeback indeed (but only watching the last round it was a great comeback, yes)

Nate diaz deserved it for almost knocking him out
Story of Nate Diazs life, his name should be olak.

It was def. unexpected and carries more weight than most others since it KO'd the #1 P4P fighter and won Leon the title.

I'd say fair, though Matt Schnell comeback was wild considering he was hurt multiple times.

Look at him now, LOOK AT HIM NOW...!!!

Also goddamn man people are really loving these "NEWS" tags tonight after the Dana White and Phil Barroni shit going megathread worthy.

I mean I felt the fight was pretty competitive. Maybe in the particular round, Glover was on his way to win but it wasn't a domination by either guy. EVERYONE thought Leon was quitting

Just here for all the threatened Americans who can’t handle a Brit getting a bit of success

Not sure how Leon gets it. Fighter of the year? Possibly. Dude has been hunting for the title and winning forever but I guess it's how you define a comeback.
I think there were better comebacks for sure but I think everything that happened in the Kamaru fight and how Kamaru was about to tie/beat Silvas record made it a bit more hyped i guess. Leon also looked so unmotivated during the last couple rounds.

He was on the verge of losing his long waited title shot. Down on all cards with no hope of winning and with less than a minute left he uncorked a head kick ko to become champ.

Movies are made with that ending, it's a hell of a comeback
