They have bad blood, Jorge is bigger than he ever was, Leon is on a 8 fight win streak


who else wants to see this fight
 
Jorge has been ducking Leon for a minute. He never takes a fight versus a guy with Leon’s ability and lack of clout. Lose-lose
 
Edwards is way too good and way too underrated for Jorge to take a fight with, I would favor Edwards in that one. I believe they are trying to make Masvidal vs Usman at UFC 250. Because having Amanda Nunes vs Felicia Spencer headlining a garbage card will otherwise go down as the worst PPV of all time.

Its a fight to make after Jorge gets a shot... hes a wizard with his promotion home dude is 2 brutal Kos against top WWs and beat Diaz who made millions from Conor.

He isn't fighting unless its huge

Journeyman Jorge is rather busy fighting other journeymans such as Nate or Nick.
Leon will beat him in a very boring and forgettable fight. Leon should already be ahead of him in ww title picture.

As much as I want to agree with you because 250 isn't looking good despite the recent few decent additions to the card Masvidal Usman aint happening at 250, the headliner is locked in imo unless they plan on changing the date of the card again.

Unless I'm drunker than I think pretty sure he hasn't fought Nick fam.
 
I'm not against this fight, but I'm kinda confused as to why all of the top WW are just sitting around doing nothing. Usman, Jorge, Wonderboy, Leon, Colby. Seriously wtf is going on?

Dana even sais that the fight was on back then. For that march card where Jones was fighting Smith I believe.
 
Jorge doesn't want that, that's the end of his gravy train. Same reason he doesn't want to fight Kamaru.

Dana says a lot of stuff that is blatantly bullshit. Nick's not coming back fam. Time to stop talking about a guy who last fought in January of 2015 and last won a fight nigh on 9 years ago.

In Leon's case I'd imagine it's not being able to get into the US which is why any hypothetical match up between him and Masvidal would have to happen on the Fight Island we've heard so much about otherwise it's not happening in the short term.

Good point. I find it weird how we're hearing nothing else about WW though. Wondering if Dana/UFC is low balling Usman-Jorge.

I'm guessing the UFC is low-balling everyone right now basically saying you'll fight as per your contract which is in some sense understandable given the lack of live gate revenue though given how the majority of fighters are paid a comparative pittance perhaps it's hard to swallow for some. Think Masvidal would prefer a Conor fight over a title fight, Usman would prefer a fight with Conor too given how much Ali's trying to bait Conor into taking a WW title shot. Not sure what's up with Wonderboy though he should be keen to fight perhaps he's finding it hard to get an opponent as well. Not sure there are that many other US based fighters that he'd agree to fight. As for Colby well he's a well known diva so he's probably demanding a fight with Usman or Masvidal and a massive paycheck to boot. Doesn't look great when a bunch of American based fighters aren't fighting when as it stands it's difficult/impossible for international fighters to get into the United States. Fight Island better be fucking real.
 
Jorge is fantastic. I think he's squandered his hype (not hype as overhyped but attention). He's been inactive since November as is non-committal. If conor doesn't want it it should be usman. I remember him snubbing usman. And I was shocked like how do you turn down a title shot?! Leon is and has been the right to make, no diaz fights none of that. This is the right fight... Unless you toss colby in the mix lol.
