Leon Edwards to Destroy Kamaru Usman, Confirmed

i dont give leon much of a chance either. No KO power. No wrestling. No chin.
Hasn't beaten anyone credible since he got a 29-28 win against luque in 2017.
lost 5th round to Nate
beat RDA and Cerrone (who hasn't?)
His wrestling is solid he will easily outpoint Usman

Leon can starch Usman on the feet.
The only chance Usman has is getting Leon down to the mat.
Their first fight Leon was 25 and Usman was 28.

This fight Usman will be 35 and Leon will be 30.
It will not be the same fight.

Usman has been rocked in both of his last 2 fights with Burns and Colby.
Leon is levels above both on the feet.

I hope Leon shocks the world and gets a brutal finish.
WAR LEON!
wow Usman is aging faster

Leon has unlocked the secrets of time dilation to ensure he ages slowly. Age cutting confirmed.

Do you even Math, bro?

Khamzat or bust! Leon does not have a chance, so look for Usman to be all about that fight. Lol, even Nate Diaz almost finished this guy - he is like a poor man's Usman, a lesser wrestler and a pitter patter point fighter.

Fair points!
I'd like to counter with Michael Bisping's four and a half year 10 fight streak (in which his only finish was against a 42 year old Cung Lee) which he ended with a KO of a guy who'd easily subbed him only 3 fights prior.

Likely Outcome? --> Probably Not!
"Deserving a Shot" (If that's really a thing) --> Most Definitely!

I do not even want leon to win at this point. Usman is lapping guys and finishing them while he sat on the sidelines for a guy he got dominated by

So, in the first fight Usman was 3 years older, but now he is 5

Edwards has no power, not dropping Usman, more like the other way around

Edwards has the best streak in quality and quantity and saying Usman dominated Edwards is a huge stretch.

Indeed, anything is possible. The Ping was a short notice replacement and Luke notoriously chinny - in this fight, neither hold true. There is also a very hot opponent out there now that everyone wants to see - Khamzat - but sadly Khamzat and Usman have the same manager and Usman expressed reluctance and retirement talk when Khamzat was brought up.

I have no interest in that fight honestly. I think that would do God awful ppv numbers. I'd actually be more interested to see a rematch or Edward's vs Luque.

WAIT WAIT WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE!

So the first fight, there was only a 3 year age gap! But this next fight there will be a 5 year age gap? Am I missing something here?!

Not a huge stretch at all, usman set the precedent for how their styles match up 9/10. It was like mas v usman lite

I could see Edwards sneaking a dec win. His wrestling has improved and he should hold a striking advantage even with Kamaru making improvements. This coming from someone who has picked Kamaru to win comfortably every ufc fight he has been in so far including vs Woodley as an underdog.

People like to discredit Edwards wins while ignoring some heavy context. Every one of his opponents (maybe except Nate ) in past 5 fights is a very credible opponent at the top of their game. What he did to Cerrone was impressive considering he doesn't hold the normal tools to give Cowboy trouble. He beat him with pure technique and skill.
