Guys..... How long are we going to keep pretending Masvidal is an elite fighter. LOOK AT HIS RECORD. He ALWAYS loses to the real top tier guys. Edwards washes him with EASE.
 
You know you’re an old school elitist/pride fanboy when the thought of Jorge Masvidal and Leon Edwards being discussed in terms of title shots makes you sad

After all that talk. Masivadal should fight Edwards to back up what he was saying.

Masvidal needs to stop fronting and fight Edwards already, he's not going to fight for the title anytime soon, how are yout gonna sucker punch someone and back down from actually fighting them. Colby vs Robbie winner will fight Usman.

False top 5 fighters imo. Askren got ranked in the top 5 from a bullshit stoppage and Till got ranked for a ho hum decision against Thompson a lot of people thought he lost.
RDA is a better win than either of those guys and it was a completely one sided win by Edwards.
 
I expect that it'll be a tough matchup for both of them. Edwards is wasting his time here though. The fight was very briefly a possibility, but with the Askren KO, Masvidal surged way past him.

So Masvidal now gets Usman and Edwards probably gets Colby. There is no way that Colby does anything spectacular vs Robbie and Robbie will definitely not leapfrog Masvidal regardless of how he wins. Things seem pretty set IMO.
 
If you are willing to throw hands when there are a crowd of people you should be willing to step into the cage, plus this fight is a good title eliminator for the winner of MAGAboy vs marty fakenewsman unless colby losed to lawler

Masvidal might as well fight Edwards, I don't see Usman being ready anytime soon.

With Colby and Lawler getting ready to throw down, if Woodley heals up soon he could need a dance partner.

On paper they were top 5 in thats really all that matters for matchmaking. Danas more likely to give Jorge the title shot over decision Leon. People judge fighters by how they look on paper, and that is the problem. Just like people are saying Edwards will beat Masvidal because of his record lol. No doubt Edwards is a good fighter, but so is Masvidal. Watching old Masvidal fights u could tell he is a very talented fighter who just didnt pull the trigger, and that lost him a lot of fights. Now thats seemed to change. If someone thinks Masvidal isnt a talented fighter they probably know nothing about fighting
 
Leon is good everywhere but not great anywhere, same as Masvidal. Masvidal has displayed fight ending power, which Edward's hasn't.

It's a decent fight on paper .
 
This might be Masvidal's one chance at the title shot. I wouldn't accept a fight with Leon if I was him.

Also lol cause Masividal was getting on to Askren for refusing to give Lawler a rematch.
 
This fight needs to happen so they can settle their feud, regardless of which side you’re on.

Ok, maybe down the road if Jorge is getting the next title shot.

Usman will be sitting around too long. Jorge only fought for 5 seconds. Both he and Usman can be ready in less than 2 months. Edwards can wait.
