Anyone have a gif of it? Edwards did it twice, like he ran through Nate sideways and dumped him to the ground. It reminded me of SexxyYama's and I swear I've seen Machida use it as well but I can't find one of that

I can find this of Machida, but I swear I've seen a quicker and smoother version. Leon was doing something like this

Yeah I don't know what it's called, I know it comes from Judo though, at least the way Sexyama was doing it

Poor Edwards man, he put up such a masterful performance. All he had to do was just not get tagged in the final round and people would talk about him fighting for the belt next, instead now people are ridiculing him for getting rocked by Nate Diaz.

Yeah that toss was beautiful, tossed Nate around like a child. And all Nate could do was get up and acknowledge that Leon got him. Leon's an extremely skilled all-around fighter, he just lacks that killer instinct finishing mentality.

Leon does stuff just little bit more than the opponent, staying winning every round and saving energy by not going for finish too hard. Not a really exciting way of fighting but he would pick up the pace if his opponent would come forward and pressure him.

Agreed, He has the skills but lacks the killer instinct.

I think the sexyyama gif is just a variation of osoto gari. The second is somethingbdifferent . IDK the name of that.

Looked like O soto Gari like others mentioned. Sexyama always used it and Zabit uses a variation of it

I know haha, it's such a Leon thing to have happen

To be fair he kinda deserves the criticism though, he got rocked and almost finished by Diaz who isn't even a top 5 LW. I was thinking he might be 2, and give Usman a competitive fight, kinda hard to see it that way now

You occasionally see nak muay doing similar "dumps" and sweeps like that as well.

Come on man. Let's be honest. If it were a real fight Nate would have finished him. The 5th round bell saved Leon and everyone knows it.

True if hes starting to fade in the later rounds after kicking Nates ass, how is he gonna deal with Usman in rounds 4 & 5 after Usman has been pressuring him like crazy

    LOL

If it were a "real fight," Edwards could've KO'd Nate or killed him by slamming his head into a hard surface when he had control on the ground in the earlier rounds.

Real fight, Nate wouldn't have had a cut man fixing that wound in his eyebrow and the side of his head every 5 minutes

Nate would have bled out, or at least lost enough to get whoozy. And no way he lands that combo 20 minutes later feeling light headed from blood loss
