Does anybody train from here? I'm thinking of checking it out, but I kinda want to know about pricing and all that stuff. There are like 15 different schools around me within 30 mins from where I live, I wanna know if this one is good.

If Leo is teaching then it's an excellent school. Leo is one of the best BJJ players in the world, and i'm sure he's a good instructor.

Judging by his seminar DVD i've seen, if Leo is teaching, it'll be a really awesome school.

For BJJ that is probably one of the most desirable schools in the world right now!

Leo's an adcc champ and good instructor from what I've heard... Def worth looking into

You cant subsitute quality so you should be willing to pay alittle more. :icon_chee

i visited the place when it just opened. its a great place to train at. their conditioning is old school to say the least, they got a rope to climb also. leo's approach is very aggressive style which fits great if you want to compete. i recommend visiting the place. theres still a special price when joining, I think it ends this month.

where abouts do drysdale and maia etc train within brasa is it at leo school or do they have there own

He's one of the best, check this video out with BJ rolling with him.

I would love to train at leo's plus he's sponsored by rvca hahaha.

although i wouldn't pass up leo's school, training at new breed seems like a decent choice. the new breed in chicago is a pretty decent school so i'm assuming the one out there is as well.

I train at leos upland california academy, great school with great instructors plus a great fight shop in the front (Hit and Submit), everyone should stop by and check it out we give a free week and its always great to have some new to roll with

I've been looking at a few different schools to begin training at and Leo's Upland academy is on the list (the other academies being Rodrigo Teixeira's in Covina, and Wander Braga's in Upland). My understanding is that the main instructor in Upland is Lucas Leite. So I assume that Leo devotes most or more time to the La Habra location. I could be wrong though. I also understand that Leo is a new father, so that could play a factor as well.

Yup, leos a new father and just got back from brazil, lucas is the main instructor but leo is in 2-3 classes a week and will be holding a seminar in august... Lucas is a great instructor with and without a gi and a BB from brasa under leo, come on in and check out a couple classes, you wont be disappointed
