Length of your work commute?

About 2.5 blocks. Unless I work from home.

10 minutes. Moved closer a month ago and love it. Able to go back to my place on break certain days if I need to.

Yep, I go seven blocks.

I think I did put a price on it, though. It's equivalent to about a $7.5K raise.

So many intangibles though:

-if I forget something at home, no problem
-can stay out later and wake up later
-if I ever wake up late it only means a minute or two of brisk walking
-can go home for a quick nap on my own bed if I really need it
-no stress of traffic or parking or public transit delays

All really good points. I can go home for lunch, make a steak and a salad, sit and eat reading the news, listen to the radio, take a dump, and be back at my desk in 45 minutes. A short commute is a many-splendored thing.
