NBA Lebrons 2011 vs 2010 collapse

The 2011 finals is a stain on Lebrons legacy for sure, he averaged 18 ppg and was outscored by fricken Jason Terry of all people while D Wade played well. LeBron choked a finals he should have won

But people forget he shat the bed against Boston the previous year. Cavs were -450 coming into the series and LeBron was MVP.

When cavs went up 2-1 into the series he averaged 32 PPG, 7 RPG and 4 APG on 54% shooting

Then the last 3 games he goes 21 PPG, 11 RPG and 8.3 APG on 34% shooting. Game 6 he played well but had shit shooting percentage and 9 turnovers

Boston wins three straight games and LeBron gets eliminated from the playoffs.

So why the collapse? This is when the Delonte west rumors started (people were claiming his teammate was banging his mom so this might have affected his play?)

But I think the Boston Cs got their defense in order and shut LeBron down. He goes to Miami to team up with D Wade.

If we're counting post 2000's choke job nothing is worse than Kobe's 2004 performance. Lakers were a -700 favorite and he shot below 40%, which would have been good enough in the expansion era to win but not in this era.

2nd worst choke job is the Warios 3-1 collapse after setting the regular season record.

LeGoat at least went on to redeem himself and has been the best player in every finals appearance since 2011.
