Considering that a lot of important shit has happened this past year...

When was the least eventful year of MMA? A year where hardly any exciting fights happened, P4P kings weren't dethroned, and the underdog hardly won?

2006: Biggest highlight to me was Cro Cop winning the Pride Grand Prix though 2006 did start the reign of AS.

GSP's return and Cain beating JDS were the only real important things that happened that year.

Anderson vs Chael II? First one division main card in UFC 146, Flyweight division debut, UFC 151 cancellation, debut in China,

And let's not forget Bisping getting his first top 10 win ever, Bigfoot making his name off Travis Browne, Jon Fitch actually got a FOTN bonus and Silva vs Bonnar(lol),

Every year is eventful. Titles defended, belts lost, new stars emerge!

2002 probably. Besides the huge Tito Shamrock fight there wasn't much going on really.

Not much happened in 2012

2012 became one of the worst year for fighter's coz it was the year of the "Injuries". You can't even count how many fighters got injured that year and great matches that got screwed up
