    Greetings,

I have been doing high bar, and want to try out low bar. Today I tried it out and I cannot seem to make the bar feel "firm" when it rests on my back the way the high bar does (the high bar sits on the traps? which make it like a shelf).

When I set up my low bar, my shoulders really feel they are being cranked back, and I have to lean a lot more than what videos like Rippetoe's shows; my shoulders are a bit rounded forward and they do not touch the bar when doing the low bar position, is this an issue that prevents me from doing the low bar right now?

Maybe your arms aren't spread wide enough or your elbows aren't lifting up and back.
With the low bar, your back should be at more of an angle to the floor.
Add a pic if that doesn't work.
