Huge Robbie Lawler fan, and I remember thinking that he won the first fight - obviously didn't go his way.

I then thought Hendricks won the second fight. So much so, that I walked out in Round 4 and couldn't bear to watch him throw this one away. Next thing I hear he won! such a surreal feeling.

How did you guys score them?

Hendricks won them both

But I'm not complaining, I prefer Robbie over him as the champ.

I thought the first fight was closer actually but I honestly thought Hendricks won both fights. Judges don't seem to like him though.

Gave both to lawler but im horribly biased. Absolutely cant stand hendricks

I had Hendricks winning both. I thought he won even more convincingly in the second one, lol.

I also had Condit in their fight.

Then again, Lawler is a fucking bad ass and all of his fights are the shit. He gave us a modern day, top 25-fight of all time classic against Rory MacDonald, who earned a fuck ton of respect from me in that fight, which I didn't have for him beforehand.

So...

It's okay.

Hendricks won both. Robbie is the anti-Ninja Rua. He gets all the gift decisions

I thought Robbie won the first fight, and was disappointed.

I thought Hendricks won the second fight, and I was happy that his crotch hugging didn't work on the judges

Watching their second fight as we speak.

1st Round is literally the epitome of a 10-10, but of course judges refuse to use that score. I think it came down to Round 1, because I think the general consensus was that Hendricks won 2-3 and Lawler won 4-5, leaving the swing-round of Round 1, and it was RAZOR CLOSE!

Glenn Trowbridge scored it 49-46 to Lawler - that's just outrageous.

Hendricks definitely won the first fight 48-47 (1,2,5).
The second fight i scored a Draw which would make Hendricks retain his title but he can only blame himself for losing that second fight, he was actually getting the better of those boxing exchanges and decide to rest on Lawler`s balls...Maybe he was really tired?? He put on a good pace in the first fight so who knows dude likes his hamburguers a lot. Lawler stole that fight in the last round, just like in the Rory and Condit fights. Straight up Warrior and amazing Champ.

Yeah, I think we've seen it now in several fights that Johny doesn't have much of a gas tank.

He completely gassed in the 3rd round of the Condit fight, lucky not to get finished.

He completely gassed in the 5th round of Lawler II.

He was pretty damn tired in the 5th round of Lawler I.

He let his cardio slow down his work rate in Round 5 of GSP fight too.

if we are being honest, i had hendriks winning first athletic competition, but losing the fight (agresion , trying to hurt and/or finish).

i had robbie winning second fighty as he was trying to win or at least hurt hendriks whereas johnny was literally content to have robbie's balls the back of his head for 10 to 15 minutes.

Hendricks - 1,2,5

All rounds easy to score.

Then

Hendricks - 2, 3, 4

Round 1 was actually pretty close though Lawler charged early. Round 4 some may have swung to Lawler for the last 30 seconds but I thought that it wasn't quite enough live. Round 4 only had Hendricks stalling towards the latter part of the round.

It cuts both ways. He's lost a couple of decisions he arguably should've won, but he should've lost that decision to Koscheck that he was given, and I also thought TJ Grant (speaking of which, god I miss that guy; he was a beast at welterweight and a goddamn killer at 155) should've won their fight.

Lol @ you idiots being fine with Robbie being awarded the decision even though you thought he lost.

Need to re-watch the first one, but I totally agree with your opinion on the second fight.

Hurts me to say as a Lawler fan, but I cannot see how he won this. I have it:

1: 10-10
2: 10-9 Hendricks
3: 10-9 Hendricks
4: 10-9 Hendricks
5: 10-9 Lawler

I can only definitively give Lawler one round, and that's the 5th. You could make a strong argument for 10-9 in round 1, and a very small argument for round 4. I guess there is a way of creeping a 48-47 Lawler out of this, but it's tough.

49-46 Lawler is still the best thing out of this, that's just hilarious!

Well Robbie IMO is the most entertaining fighter in the UFC right now. Not really happy he won anyway but I don't hate it as much as I would with someone else just cause I love watching him fight big fights - just being honest

huge lawler fan, but i thought you could've made a better argument for him winning the first fight than the second. was psyched lawler won the second because of the lay and pray style of hendricks, but was shocked for sure. the 49 / 46 for lawler was insane.

interesting to note, i remember they asked Rory who was ringside and he said he had rematch 3 to 2 lawler. he had no reason to be biased and prob would've preferred to fight hendricks for his shot.

i love lawler and condit, but i had lawler winning that one. so much of condits volume was hitting air, blocked, glove or doing very little damage ( tap tap slap point shit).
condit didnt really start landing until 4 and 5 when he tagged robbie w/ some solid shots and hurting him. he dominated the 4th and was winning the 5th til robbie took over.

razor thin tho, and i wouldnt have complained if condit got the nod.

Both fights were awesome

I'm glad Johnny couldn't ride out the 5th in the rematch like he wanted to. The first fight would have been FOTY had he not ruined the end

Judging honestly tho I think JH should have squeaked out both, but judges don't respect huggers anymore and neither do I so w/e
