Anyone else would love to see this fight?

Maybe after Brown if Condit recovers quickly.

I think it would be an insane striking battle. Mofos getting rocked all over the place.

Make it happen!
 
Lawler is getting a title shot after he knocks out Brown. Condit vs Lawler would be the best fight to make at WW though.
 
I would love to see that fight. I have a feeling it would look a lot like Condit vs Diaz though. I do not think Condit would want to really strike with Lawler.

Lawler has as much raw power as anyone, but he doesn't generally come out and pressure opponents the way Woodley did early on in their meeting, and without that heavy blitz, Condit would most likely find his groove to move and counter. Could be quite competitive, but in a slugfest I'd agree that Robbie would out Carlos down.
 
I'd love to see this, as a big fan of both.
I think Condit's unconventional style will win him the fight.
 
It'd be a great fight, probably lots of fireworks.

That's a hard one for me to buy since Condit has never been truly KO'd--only via freak injury. If Condit can come back 100% (that's a big "if") this would be a great fight.

I don't agree... Diaz was far more dangerous on the ground... that's why Condit's only choice was to avoid, avoid, avoid. With Lawler, I think he would have a pretty clear advantage on the ground and would opt for trying to take it to the mat IMO.

Very good point.. Although Hendricks and Ellenberger were able to take Lawler down once or twice they did not have great success keeping him there. So if Condit isn't able to keep him on the mat then he'll have to stand with him and that could be scary for Condit.. That is why I think it might look a little like Diaz vs Condit IMO.
 
been wanting to see this fight. i'd root for condit but it's anyone's fight.
 
I believe that Condit would use the same strategy as he did against Diaz if he were to fight Lawler.

Yeah.. you're probably right. While I sit and think about it... I seem to recall allot of guys getting dazed standing with Carlos, then taking him down to avoid a beating... then Condit subbing the shit out of them. This scenario doesn't seem likely with Lawler.

Either way, I love both those guys and hope it is as exciting as I initially thought it would be... before you pissed on my parade. lol
 
I don't think Condit would be able to use the gameplan he did in the Diaz fight as some people are suggesting. Robbie's foot work is much, much better than Diaz's and would be able to cut Condit off. I see Condit being forced to engage in a firefight if they ever meet up. Both have a good chance at finishing each other.
