Lawler, Rory, Nick, Condit, Hendrikcs: Do you think some of these guys from WW golden era could become champion in current WW in them primes?

WW, like most divisions, hasn't "evolved." The best guys aren't better than they used to be. The divisions are just deeper now.

Robbie and Hendricks: good chance of becoming champion.
Rory: could go either way.
Nick and Condit: no. They'd both find ways to lose to grapplers.

Condit might get decisioned by Belal or Shavkat maybe current Usman but solid shot nonetheless I wanna believe broski like 60% chance

Rory yeah pre-Lawler ass whoopin' version go hard AF mi yutes Shavkat an' Buckley might crack 'em tho like 60% chance too

Mi rate Nick but bro haffi avoid Shavkat an' Usman real talks him an' Belal might be FOTY or a hugfest iono prolly like 20% chance higher if him got di privilege crazier ting happen b4

Condit no shot his take down defense and willingness to try and hunt submissions from his back lead Brady, belal, Usman, Shavkat, and colby to wrestle him to death more times than not. Just too many bad match ups for him

Hendricks not with the current testing policy.

Rory and Lawler…both have decent chance

Nick definitely not for the same reason as Condit

Lawler vs JDM would be an absolute firefight
 
Hendricks has the best chance
Rory in his very short prime
Lawler has a chance, loses to JDM though

Condit has no takedown defense nor good wrestling.
Good kicks, but not great power in his hands either.
He was surpassed by time, ending his career 4 - 9, throwing dumb combos without creating openings nor proper feints.

Lawler and Hendricks have the best shot. Lawler peaked later in his career but he was well rounded. Strong hands, nice head movement and good defensive wrestling and sprawling ability.

Hendricks would do good too. Strong top pressure and heavy hands. I think everyone else would struggle. Nick and Carlos have too weak of TDD and wrestling ability. They'd get squished. WWs are more meaty it seems.

Rory might do ok. But I'm not sure he handles pressure the best.
