Jake has great power but that's really all he has as far as his standup goes. It's kind of a bummer to see him hit his peak skillwise and not be able to hang with the top contenders. Against Sanchez he showed good movement and a good jab, I wonder where these fundamentals went. Now it seems whenever he fights a smart fighter with good boxing he has lots of trouble getting power shots off, it's like he just can't set anything up. Rory jabbed him to death and he had no answer whatsoever, so it wasn't a surprise to see a guy with Lawler's boxing hand him his ass.
