The O Malley fight proved it. You can break your leg and win a sporting event. In a real fight if you break your leg you're more than likely to get stomped out. So let's stop saying boxers and others aren't real fighters. They are just athletes playing a sport like MMA fighters. This is mainly for conor fan boys ship talk noise about Floyd not taking A "real fight" with McGregor. In a real fight conor would never ever beat nate Diaz cause there are no time limits.

I agree they should have talked instead

Why don't you " REALLY FIGHT " one of these guys and see what happens..

{<hhh] .

No.

In any other combat sport a broken leg would mean the end of the fight. In MMA you can continue by defending like he did last night. That is close to a real fight af.

So tell me, how would you have stomped him out in a one on one street fight?

Only insecure idiots think MMA is a "real" fight

UFC walks a fine line. Too safe and they alienate a large part of their consumer base; too street and the alienate the other part of their consumer base as well as pansy activists and neutered politicians.

It IS close to a real fight, but ultimately it isn't one. There's still rules, boundaries, restrictions you can't cross without repercussions.

What are you on about man

He only won because his opponent has 0 fight IQ and went for takedowns.

MMA is not a real fight, it hasn't been over for 2 decades at this point. It's a combat sport for dudebro douchebags like me.

Lol and a "real fight" doesn't have rounds either, so one could argue that O'Malley wouldn't have hurt his foot had the first round continued because he was on the verge of finishing Soukhamthath. Same logic applies to your Diaz argument. Diaz might not have survived the 10-8 round that Conor was putting on him had it continued, like a "real fight".

Meh. It's as close as you can get to a representation if a relationship fight. Although in real fights you can literally bite the guys it'd acknowledge off to win if you have to so.... I'm cool on that.

No one says it IS a real fight, just the closest you can get to it in a sporting event. Floyd would still get his ass kicked by Conor in a real fight 1 on 1 with no weapons. Sorry

TS really opened a lot of eyes with this post. Prior to this, no one knew that judges decided the outcomes of the fights.
