This bout is coming up next sunday, A loss will be a 4 fight losing streak for Larkin, making him 1-5 in his 6. It's worth mentioning that Lorenz Larken has a very impressive record Pre-UFC.

John Howard is on 2 fight losing streak a loss will set him at 2-3 of his last 5, With unimpressive wins over Siyar Bahadurzada and Uriah hall, I could see the UFC letting him go with this loss. Unless maybe it's an exciting fight

SO does the UFC cut Larkin or Howard with a loss? Or keep both?

they both moved down to ww a stacked division, so I think whoever loses gets cut as you stated

Feel bad for Larkin, the guy seems like a genuine good dude with a massive skillset. He seems to freeze when he faces good opposition. I still believe he could do amazing things.

Howard always delivers, wouldn't mind if they keep him.

I like both guys but I feel like we've already seen Howard's ceiling.

Dunno what's wrong with Larkin (needs a new camp?) but hopefully he pulls it out.

Larkin has been disapointing in the UFC. But he got skills, I think WW is a good fit for him and I'm curious to see how he will do. Howard is not a top fighter, but still a good test.
I also believes that Howard is better then what he shows, if he could just be a little bit more offensive.

    Probably.

I don't think they expected Howard to last long - he was brought in for the Boston card to face Hall, expected to lose IMO. Then he ground out Siyar as well so he earned himself another couple of fights.

Larkin is definitely on his last chance.

Both should leave town win or lose. Neither is UFC caliber.

I think they should both get another chance if the fight is entertaining. Surprised Larkin is the favorite here though, anyone else?

Thats how I see it. Neither are doing great right now, but I think there are fighters on the UFC roster in their division both could beat. As long as it isnt a snoozefest, I see the both getting another fight

Larkin is legit. The cookie just hasn't crumbled well for him during his UFC run.

Hopefully he can pull something off to keep his job. Dude has the skills to belong on the big show. Just needs to perform.

Larkin did beat the current UFC champ though.

It's crazy how different their respective trajectories have been since then. Larkins handled Lawler pretty damn well.
