Laprise v. Thibault booked for UFC Vancouver

Who cares? Squash match to get another Canadian TUF'r a free win in Canada using the exact same guy? Zzzzzzz
 
Laprise should win but Gouti surprised me by taking a round off Oli.

Laprise should have gotten the decision over Pearson though.

Yeah pretty much, it has Laprise cruising to a decision written all over it.
 
Should be quite a decent fight actually coz Gouti's striking isn't too bad really (his fight to get into the TUF house with David Teymur was a dark horse fight, pretty entertaining and back and forth).

Laprise will probably take an easy UD though, definitely do-or-die for Gouti who'll certainly be cut with a third loss.
 
Laprise gets alot of love for someone who hasnt lived up to the hype. I get hes a tuf winner but he would probly be cut by now if he wasnt . As a Canadian I go for him almost Everytime anyway so hopwfully he pulls this one out

Pettis is already on the card and it's a Fox card so hopefully it's got a sweet main event
 
Can they announce a main event for this card already?
 
Hopefully Gouti lands another crushing overhand on Laprise and send him packing.

Weidman wouldnt take the fight to be sure to fight on the MSG card? Rockhold is available right now though. Anderson Silva too. Khabib is available, seeing him headline vs Poirier is not that far fetched. At any rate, I expect another lackluster FOX card, like the next one.

I think it's safe to assume Weidman vs. Rockhold II will take place at UFC 205, probably as co-main or something. I wouldn't mind Khabib vs. Poirier in the slightest but Khabib might just get that title shot outright. Would be a fitting Main Event though. I think Anderson has stated he wants to get on that Brazil FN coming up soon and he's rumored to be headlining it vs. Vitor. The card as a whole will probably be a bit lackluster as a lot of the cards through Aug-Sept from the stacked cards of fire we've been getting lately. I'm not expecting much tbh.

what kind of fights? lets be fair here, chad laprise is a tuf winner. gouti was undefeated when he made his ufc debut. loser can get cut here. it gets the people going.

Hell ya dude I didn't realize Pettis was fighting in this card. I wanna go for sure. Last time ufc was in town I didn't go thinking they would be back in no time but it's been fucking years I am not missing out again. Lol.
