Skill wise she would be One FC D-level fighter compared to the men.

Yes. Generally, when one stands like a colossus over the entirety of their competitors...they look better for it.

That is sort of how it works for everybody, bruh.

    Not really.

GSP never looked unbeatable and he was the colossus, the difference being he was working with a division of professional athletes and straight killers.

Her standup looked really bad, Mighty MOuse would beat her with one hand, she could not land a punch on him.
Good thing Bethe was zero power because she landed the first few decent punches while ROnda was lunging at air. Ronda's footwork is really bad.

Ronda's skill and talent makes her look good. Lack of competitors makes her look mythical.

So short of WMMA suddenly evolving at light speed and a murderer's row of challengers growing/developing/appearing out of nowhere, what do people propose Ronda do? Play down to her competition?

She is clearly way ahead of her competition, but her grappling skills are better than what most man has and she is one of the very few women to score an actual KO. Her striking has evolved a lot. If she was a man and had man power she would be in the UFC and doing pretty well.

She's good and her competition sucks, she's the best but it doesn't mean much in such a superficial talent pool.

The mass doesn't think, only consume what they're fed, GSP fights always sucked entertainment-wise yet ppl always talked about it. I don't give much attention to those things.

Since Ronda's competition is about 10x harder what does that say about Cyborg?

I was thinking the same thing during the fight. She was just lucky she was able to walk through those punches. If she doesn't learn to pick her shots and use some foot work instead of swinging like a maniac, the first time she encounters somebody with power and a good stand up game, she's going to get dropped. These talks of her being able to hang with the men are ridiculous if she's going to strike like that. If she would go in there relaxed and find her range instead of charging, that would make a world of difference. After watching that, her only chance at cyborg is to take it to the ground. If it stays on the feet and she plans on fighting like she did this weekend, she's going to get mauled.

When there is a dominant fighter we get the usual comments that the division is weak and shallow. Yawn..... Ya know. Perhaps the champ is just better than everyone else out there. Fuck why do i bother.
