This question is for those of you who know both fighters quite well..

I am setting up my accumulator bets for tomorrows fight and I think I have the rest of the fights pretty safe, but swapping Horiguchi out for Gaudinot offers a huge increase in returns, obviously for a reason. I know hes very good with a great record.

But does Gaudinot stand a much of chance in this fight?

Also opinions on Jury vs Cerrone.. ?

Horiguchi is great on the feet, has crazy power and precision for 125, the only concern is his cardio and TDD. He was on the wrong end of back mount twice, escaped nevertheless. He's the only hope of Japan and flyweight division. He has only watch out for Gaudinot's guillotine choke. I think Horiguchi will KO Gaudinot in round 2.

I also think Jury will outpoint Cerrone and win the decision but I'm not 100% sure about it (I bet that fight will go over 2 rounds which I think will likely happen).

Gaudinot's best weapon is his guillotine but I don't think he'll have much luck with it against Horiguchi. Horiguchi is rightfully the huge favourite.

horiguci is one of the more promising talents at 125, i can see him tagging louis with lefts, and taking him down and landing monsterous gnp for a stoppage or decision, Horiguci's got this, but Louis is dangerious, you can never count him out.

As a big fan of Gaudinot since his ROC days, Horiguchi should have this one unless he does something foolish.

    TS asked about it.

Horiguchi is the most exciting fighter at 125. Crazy power in both hands and so much potential. I wouldn't bet against him, but follow your heart, TS. Gaudinot is durable as hell, so I can see him surviving to a decision. But I highly doubt he wins. Kyoji is a beast. Kid Yamamoto 2.0.

Edit: Also, I can definitely see Jury beating Cerrone. I'm a big Cowboy fan, and I really hope he wins, but I'm thinking Jury gets the W tomorrow. UD, if I had to guess.

gaudinot can theoretically submit him. hey, he subbed lineker.

reality is horiguchi will have big power and speed advantages, and it'll likely be a short night for the green haired man.

Gaudinot seems like a live dog to me. He's very good at opportunistic submissions like guillotines off of scrambles and stuff like that. He tapped Lineker in his UFC flyweight debut. He's very good at 125 which is his natural weight class. Most of his losses were due to having to compete at 135 on TUF and before the flyweight division was established in the UFC. Gaudinot seems to struggle most against dominant wrestlers. Kyoji is more of a striker. I can see Gaudinot taking an ass whipping and then eventually catching Kyoji and tapping him. I understand why Kyoji is the favorite, but the odds in this fight seem highly overblown to me. That's why I put vCash on Gaudinot.

It is going to be rough for Horiguchi if he losses in any way since the MMA community is going to say his hype train is forever derailed and he is officially a bust in the FlyW division, nevermind the fact that he is 24 right now and clearly has shown the potential to be extremely dangerous for anyone and everyone by the time he's 28 or so. In fact, regardless of how this fight goes I'm seeing a pretty damn good chance of this guy getting a UFC belt before he turns 30 at this rate.

With regards to Cowboy-Jury, that seems like a real Pick Em fight. Cowboy's looked great lately. So has Jury. It's a big step up in competition for Jury. Jury seems like the kind of fighter that gives Cowboy trouble, though. Jury's really good at sticking to game plans and executing. If Cowboy can't get the finish by submission or strikes, I see Jury winning a decision. Cowboy tends to lose first rounds. If he's in a 1-0 hole against Jury, it'll be hard to steal the next two rounds against him. Cowboy tends to overcome being behind in fights with finishes, but that's going to be hard against a guy who's as hard to finish as Jury. His striking defense is the best in the history of the division, and his submission defense as well as offensive is also excellent,
