I'd like to see where he matches up with the elite
IMO chances are:
KSW again 10%
Lol Rizin got ignored
He will probably end up in the UFC as that is where all the best LW's are, but it will depend how cheap the UFC will try to get him. If they try their 12k/12k bullshit then he should really try for ONE or Bellator, maybe even RIZIN a fight against Musayev would be fire!
If I was Bellator I would use my Mike Chandler money to sign Gamrot, this guy is pretty fucking legit.
I don't think he'd be interested in ACA, it would pay less than KSW and has tougher fights. I imagine he wants to come to the US.
UFC, Bellator or PFL I would think.
To be honest as he's 17-0 against a combined record of 232-61 and is a decent name in a good Polish market, I'd be surprised if the UFC didn't pick him up. He's highly legit.
How much can One championship really pay? I have heard some champions there barely made 10k
Dana's opening offer: 12 + 12.
17-0 is impressive. Send him to the UFC and give him a couple can wins to market him as a 20-0 fighter.
If the UFC picks up this guy and Chandler 155 looks like one of the best divisions ever.
I feel like they will sign one or the other. Chandler was asking for big money and im assuming Gamrot wont be signing for 12/12, so I doubt Dana makes big bids for 2 fighters in a division that is already packed and has no need to make big moves.
They had enough money for MM and Alvarez, perhaps they can dig in their money laundering scheme to offer Gamrot a good contract.
Odd that KSW would let him walk without a very competitive offer already given. KSW in the past has paid their guys very well they want to keep around. Not sure the other orgs can reasonably offer him more unless he is wanting to leave.
UFC will offer him peanuts.
Bellator will offer him walnuts.
PFL ... I don't even know, maybe acorns?
Then he'll compare living/camp/transport costs and pick ACA.
Unless ACA offers to pay in mutton kebabs.
Then he'll be back in KSW for the equivalent in pierogi and kielbasa.
Does anyone know how much is making per fight at KSW?
Not sure where he ends up, he's not the biggest name or most exciting fighter. He might want to test himself in UFC but he's not gonna get a big contract to start off.
Doubt Bellator would give him a big deal either.
PFL or maybe One, PFL normally I think would be the best offer for him cause he could fight in two divs and probably be one of favorites at FW to beat Lance Palmer and win a mill.
But with them not starting season till May, maybe that throws him off.
He's talented so UFC/Bellator would be the place to fight the better guys, he'd be solid addition to either orgs roster.
Bellator could def use him at LW esp if they lose chandler, they need more fighters at 155.
Isn't getting into the UFC unless he takes Dana's lowball offer.
Idk, I think they need to make sure they get some of these guys signed up. They're passing on a lot of people at the moment and if they want to still be the org where the best fights the best then they can't let Bellator have so many of the best prospects. Bellator have now picked up Gonzales, Polizzi, Burnell, Berkhamov, Houston and Nemkov recently. There's still the likes of Chandler, Shabily, Gamrot, Kerimov, Magomedov and Tumenov available as free agents.
You can only let Bellator have so many before the rosters start to be genuinely comparable.
"if they want to still be the org where the best fights the best" - no, they don't want that.
They want to be the org where the most marketable fight the most popular. Hence pushing guys like Sean O'Malley because OMG SO MANY FOLLOWERS !!!1!1!one!one
True, we should probably start calling it the Ultimate Followers Championship.
