KSW lost me, when they stole Aziz Karaoglus victory over Khalidov from him.

Still like KSW they have some good fighter, the org is too focused on Poland as the best ... they are acting like Poland is a hermit kingdom. Much respect for Mamed Khalidov.. and their fighters, KSW & M-1 are in need of more tv deals.. as the world more watches they will be judged on how they judge the matches.

Update!
some names were added to the card, with 2 titles on the line.
Fightcard:
MW - Michal Materla [23-5] vs. TBA
LHW - Tomasz Narkun [12-2] vs. TBA [C]
LW - Mateusz Gamrot [11-0] vs. TBA [C]
HW - Michal Kita [16-8] vs. TBA

I shit on KSW a lot but I always have a look....the thing I hate is it's pretty much the same bunch of names on every card fighting 'meh' competition, but promoted as a top-tier spectacle. I could probably make this card, lets see....

Michal Materla vs. Aziz Karaoglu
Tomasz Narkun vs. Karl Albrektsson or Darren Stewart (lets make this a proper prospect fight, Narkun's a legit prospect and definitely ranked higher than either, but I'd rather that than the obligatory, I dunno, Jay Silva or something)
Not sure on Gamrot
Michal Kita vs. Marcin Rozalski

Yeah I hear what you are saying. They need to loosen up on sending guys to Rizin to get their champs better comp. Materla v Tokov would be a great match.

Kind of a weird fight, don't you think? Sokoudjou is done...

Former KSW Champion :D Still better matchup than a random-neverHeardOf Brazillian.

Kita/Wlodarek is a good scrap. And Sokoudjou, meh, could be worse I suppose.

Or they could actually try to bring better fighters in. Problem is, they have no desire to do that. They want their champs to look good to please their Polish base. I don't like it, but from a business standpoint, it more than makes sense.

Typical KSW booking.

Soko is past his prime, but he is still recognizable name. Risk is not too big, and Narkun can have nice w in his title defense.

Undefeated LW prospect Leszek Krakowski [10-0] is going down to FW.
FW -Leszek Krakowski [10-0] vs. TBA

Horrible narkun vs soko title fight!

KSW cards are like the Superbowl in Poland, they do insane ratings in Poland. KSW would be foolish not to give their Polish stars favorable match-ups.

Their three highest-drawing fighters were Pudz, Khalidov and KK. They don't protect Pudz (and they overturned that BS JT decision) They don't protect Khalidov (he just has no competition outside of the UFC) and they let KK go to the UFC. Now they're even putting Materla in against Palhares...

All things considered I think they're being pretty reasonable, while still maintaining their position in the market, and the profitability of the company. Very few MMA orgs have reached KSW's level of success, it's a lot to risk, just to be like everyone else that's losing money promoting MMA.

Does a KSW belt mean that much that the "legitimacy" of it is worth risking the success of the company over? No business owner would think so, apart from the Calvin Ayre types that are just doing it for fun and have boatloads of money to play with.

Well, it's official. KSW comes back on October 1st.
Anybody cares?
