Andy "The Destroyer" Souwer is a FW/LW that fought on the same Rizin card as Kron in Japan on New Years Eve. He's a Dutch Style kickboxer who's currently 1-0. Kron has been getting some criticism regarding his striking skills, I can't imagine a better opportunity for him to show improvements in his striking skills. Thoughts?

Why kill off the momentum of one of two potentially good crossover fighters so early on? Maybe a few fights down the line when they're 4-0/5-0.

Ok, fair enough, but who do they fight in the mean time?

Souwer would be one of the worst guys for him to test out his striking against.

Maybe Uno, Lion Takeshi, Imanari or DJ Taiki.

If he wants a bigger challenge there's Takaya, Omigawa, Hioki, Osawa, Tokoro... lot's of good opponents for him in Japan

If he fights at the Russia event they'll find him a Sambo champ probably.

Hioki would be a good fight

Marcelo Garcia. They've competed against each other, never in mma. Marcelo has beaten him twice in bjj, but is 0-1 in mma as overall as a pro. I'd watch.
