Koreshkov vs. Henderson on Bellator

Who do you guys think will win between Koreshkov vs. Henderson?

Koreshkov is the Bellator Welterweight Champion with a lot of experience fighting in the welterweight division,known for great striking and humiliating former champ Douglas Lima. he will face the former UFC Lightweight Champion and top contender Benson Henderson.

Benson Henderson on the other hand is a high level grappler that possessed stinging Mid/Low Kicks and lethal elbows.He captured the UFC Lightweight Belt and a former WEC Lightweight Champ who has victories over top fighters like former Light weight Champion Frankie Edgar,Former Strikeforce Champs Josh Thomson and Gilbert Melendez,top contender Donald Cerrone and the guy who crushed Connor McGregor's thunderous ego in Nate Diaz.

How do you guys think this fight will play out,who do you guys think will win?

I think Koreshkov takes it

He improved the big hole in his game which was wrestling and his Cardio/Chin/Sub defense are all great

Koreshkov is an excellent power/counter striker that is used to taking out WW guys so I don't think Bendo has any chance to faze him on the feet and he will have to take it to the ground in the later rounds but Koreshkov isn't Thatch he isn't gonna gas at all so Bendo will be in for a long night

I'm not trying to say that Koreshkov is some kind of super talent he is not but he is solid and is better than Thatch in all areas of MMA so I don't see why he shouldn't be the favourite

I think this will be a close fight, but I can see Bendo taking the UD
He is more well rounded than Koreshkov and could adjust his strategy according the scenario

ive never been terribly impressed by koreshkov. i hope bendo wins and then decides he wants to fight for the 155 title as well.

This tough for me. Andrey is one of the most underrated fighters for sure. Benson has a ton of experience and is battle tested.

I wouldn't be shocked to see either man win, but I'm taking benson by close ud. The experience will be the difference.

Bendo, if he loses to Koreshkov thats horrible for Bellator after bringing him in to be a star for them.

I'm thinking Bendo. Koreshkov is a powerful, but predictable striker (that spinning s..t is not some sort of undefendable power move), and though his new-found wrestling was good enough to put away cardio-less Lima, it won't be good enough to compete with Bendo. Bendo is a grinder, and will fight strategically, while Koreshkov, when the fight isn't going his way, will slowly fold.

Bendo's got this. Koreshkov 's TDD is weak and his cardio has been shown to be a liability against a wrestler. Bendo is a cardio machine with a very good ground game and is certainly not an undersized WW as a lot of people are claiming. He's also tough as hell with a great chin and when you add it all up he's just a superior fighter, IMO.
