Dude is 34-6. Not facing elite competition but he's fought a who's who in his weightclass in the European scene. He's a very good fighter. He's beaten Sherdog favourite Taisumov, and UFC vet Stevie Ray, and was 21-3 when Conor fought him.

Ivan Buchinger is better than nearly every pre-UFC opponent that Khabib has faced, with the possible exception of Eldar Eldarov. Alexander Agafonov was a decent fighter. Guys like Ashot Shahinyan are actual cans.
