Okey now i need to ask here, i did bjj sparring with a guy, he tryed kneebar on me 4 times i escaped the first 3 easy but the last was a bit tighter and i heard a click on my knee right before i escaped, it dident hurt until late on the night the same day.

It have been 2 days now and it hurts the most at the hollow of the knee but also a bit on the knee.

Has anyone encountered this before and what did you do, should i go to a doctor right away?

Just get it checked out. It doesn't sound worrying, but you can never be sure. I'd imagine it's just a sprain, but you can't really be sure without proper medical advice.

You should go to an orthopedist, you might have sprained your PCL

what art is it you train where you don't tap to kneebars?

even if you didn't tap, sounds like you lost. just fyi ;D

Please heed my advice and go to the doctor and take time off before going back into it.

My right knee is fucked every time it gets cold cause I rushed into training after a similar injury.

I tore my MCL after my knee popped out. It didn't hurt until a few days later. Definitely go to the doctor, they may even be able to tell you the results without an MRI from your symptoms and through a few small tests.

Yeah i know but because i escaped the first 3 ofcourse i thought i would escape the last one. And i dident feel any pressure before or after the "klick" and on top of that my knees, ankle and shoulders "klick" all the time

I learned my lesson the hard way so no need to be a dick about it:icon_sad:

Oh yeah i forgot to update, well i did go to the doctor and he draining the liquid out of my knee then i did go and do an MRI and it showed that it just was bruises, 2 weeks later i could go normal and started to train after 3 weeks (5 weeks total)

Glad it wasent serious but learned my lesson
