This guy is one of my favorite fighters and it was sad to see him lose since he started to pick Burkman apart but ran out of time.

Here is an interview with KJ:

    Cliffs:

-He hates that in UFC they cut your check in half if the other guy wins/Lays and prays

-His two jobs are, helping fund small business and being a fire fighter reserve

-Wants to become a legit fire fighter

    -He has two kids

-He trains before work and after work

He should stick to this goal. They pay pretty good.

he would have had a better chance of winning if he didnt think he was in a dance off during the first two rounds. That was fucking pathetic.

You have terrible standards if Noons is your favorite fighter.

BTW all mma orgs pay win money. Noons just hates it cause he can't beat anyone.

    Huh?????

The UFC doesn't cut anyone's cheque in half for losing. They double it for winning. There is a HUUUUUUGE difference between the two.

KJ has always been a fun fighter to watch. I think last night was just a really good implementation by Burkman with the leg kicks that kept KJ out of his offensive strategy. I'm sure it was frustrating, but the better fighter ended up winning.

OMG, 2 kids!!! My Grandad and grandma on my dads side had 15 kids and on my mas side it was 11. Back then you had to catch, kill or grow your own food to survive

I do think some really entertaining, and skilled, fighters at the mid levels DON'T get paid enough w/ the present system. It stymies the quality of fights we get. They get a little more, go full time training.

HOWEVER, after watching KJ in those first two rounds he doesn't deserve one penny more.

He threw 1 punch in the first 2 rounds. I like KJ, but his TDD sucks. His opponent never has to worry about the TD, but he is frightened of the TD.

I wonder if he goes home at lunch and gives his wife a Nooner?

Yes! I went there. Deal with it.

Noons fights like he doesn't have the desire to win anymore. He's really skilled but gives away rounds and his killer instinct isn't there anymore.

This is one more example of what makes it evident that being a contractor in the fight business mostly sucks...
