Both are understood as unique "novelty" bands, have a set image/lore, and are purposely cheesy in their own way. Hell, they were playing the same size arenas when KISS ended. Making a Spotify Playlist of 60+ minutes (aka watching a "full set") who do you prefer (Music/image/everything).
(Yes, I know that this isn't the "current look") but, it's my personal favorite, and knowing the "narrative" of the band it's a great image because...we are all "Nameless Ghouls".
