I PLAN ON BOXING LATER THIS YEAR
August 9th, 2010 | by King Mo

I have been a boxing fan for a very long time now and, at some point this year, I plan on boxing myself. I want to get the experience and I think it will be good for getting my hands better. I haven

Will definitely help is game.
He always tweets during FNF, HBO, and Showtime fights.

King Mo doesn't have the stamina to dive into the world of boxing.

His MMA standup isn't any good passed 4 minutes of the first round.

Spare us the sight of King Mo trying to compete in boxing.

He can always work on his stamina. If anything that would be a reason to go into boxing, well at least training boxing, I don't see it necessary he actually turns pro.

Anyway, I doubt this happens. Frank Shamrock, Andrei Arlovski, Gegard Mousasi all said they wanted to box professionally too in addition to their MMA careers, and none of them have.

Hope he does give it a shot.
It would be fun to watch.... and he's already an athlete, so why not.

who said he was aiming for a world title?
he can fight a guy maing his debut or a guy with a 1-7-0 record or something like that and get good boxing experience

Cool. If anything, this will help Mo's striking in MMA (which is always a good thing). I'll be very interested to see how this pans out.

boxing stamina and wrestling/mma stamina are completely different things lol try again

just because he gasses from wrestling/gnp doesn't mean he would gas from a cardio workout like boxing

Awesome news. LOL at a wrestler of his caliber not having stamina.

Hope he is serious because there were others who said the same but never did.

He will get some good experience and improve his striking if he did.

Good luck to him.

I wish him the best.

If it's to improve his mma.. good on 'im.

If he really wants to enter the world of Prizefighting, it's gonna be an uphill battle. Maybe that's just what he needs to get him motivated?

as long as king mo trains and doesnt take fights over four rounds he should do well

if mma journeyman travis fulton is ranked number 234 out of 425 active licensed heavyweight boxers in the united states im sure king mo can do better

I'd watch it, but like AA he'd need to be very sensibly matched.

that's not hard to do in boxing, there's plenty of horrrible "pro" fighters out there to match him against that are looking for any payday they can get
