Im kind of looking forward to the new Ghostbusters.

I know, I know, the originals were classics so I automatically need to go hipster and just assume it will suck.

And I know, I know, this is Sherdog so I'm supposed to hate women that aren't hot and just assume it would be a role better played by men.

But I like Wiig an McCarthy and I bet'll be funny.

Anyone else looking forward to it?

I think I was the only one--or at least one of the very few--who defended the first trailer when it came out.

I think the movie looks entertaining. No need to be a hater just for the sake of being hater. The original Ghostbusters will always be there, guys.

I don't hate the trailers or love em.

I honestly don't care about the movie.

I won't watch it because it doesn't appeal to me in any way. Hope you enjoy it though ts.

Yeah cause I never saw the first Ghostbusters and will likely never see it.

I am not into those type of comedies. Only reason I'd see the new one is because a girl and a group friend thing. Plus it's a new film and I like movie theater popcorn as one of my cheat workout meals for the week.

i was obsessed with ghostbusters as a kid, so i'll definitely give it a try. worst that happens is it sucks, which i've been to enough bad movies to not get my jimmies rustled when it ends up being shit.

mccarthy has grown on me, and i really like kristin wiig. the other two snl women i don't find particularly funny (on snl anyways) but maybe they'll be better on film than on live television. i'd rather judge it for myself than listen to a bunch of whiny babies who act like the original ghostbusters was this holier than thou film to them, when they probably only watched it once or twice.

something they probably won't duplicate, because they can't since it's not the 80s, is the awesome soundtrack. saving the day is what every guy wishes they had as their real life soundtrack if/when they gotta get pumped to do something badass.

I'm a huge fan of Wiig, McCarthy, and McKinnon. 3 amazing talents. I'm also a fan of the director Paul Feig. Leslie Jones just isnt funny. When she runs out of hacky aggressive jokes about how she looks like Derrick Lewis, it's over. But even suffering through those jokes us fuckin torture.

So I do want to see it. The pros outweigh the cons. McKinnon is essentially the new Wiig on SNL, and McCarthy is, imo, good enough to be a cast member. She almost stole the show in Bridesmaids. The Heat and Spy are both amazing comedies. Her best work is when she's allowed to use her sharp tongue to its full potential. Not sure about that here.

I expect a solid 3 star (of 4) movie.

You don't have to excuse yourself for something you want to see.

I'd rather fuck myself in the face.

Movie looks horrible. Bad cgi with bright colors and the jokes are awful.

I like the comedians in there too but just no.

White knight thread.

If it gets awesome reviews when it comes out, I might watch it on Netflix eventually.

I'd say you're wrong ts but my gf legit wants to bang you now

Its funny to see how many internet idiots are triggered by this movie
I thought the trailer looked pretty good so I'll prolly check it out

I might see it just to spite all of the rustled internet cans, and I haven't even paid to see a movie in theaters since Expendables 2.

Blame Bill Murray for being an asshole and refusing to do a Ghostbusters 3 for over a decade as the reason to why this remake exists.
