It's Friday. I'm a tad high. But I feel this is an interesting question:
Has there ever been an example of an unintentional kick to the back of the head and a disqualification or warning?
We see it with punches all the time. They get a warning a deduction and/or disqualification if it continues. But fairly frequently a high kick is thrown that wraps around and connects with the back of the head.
What happens in that situation? I've only seen it result in knockouts or stoppages. I've never heard an announcer address it in any way.
Thoughts?
