what are the odds of me injuring the veins on my legs/shins?
lolwut. i doubt you have more veins than anyone else in the world
Don't be a pussy just do it ull be fine...
lol? i condition my shins as much as possible, not being a pussy, just curious.. obviously
chances are your a fat kid with a tapout shirt who learned how to do a triangle watching the tuf season with kimbo
they just stick out alot, was just curious if it will damage anything and keep me out of training, i don't want that
no worries now
the veins on my foot stick out alot. my foot used to get tiny black and blue dots all over after kicking thai pads. dont get them anymore but now i have bumps in my veins. Nothing is wrong with them aside from them looking like theres beads inside my foot lol.
I'm confident that as you condition your shins you'll see those veins less.
Years of soccer, skateboarding, and kickboxing have reduced my shins to a barren wasteland of scars and leg hair.
I used to wonder the same thing, same with my arms.
I used to wonder the same thing till I started getting into heavy sparring and fighting. Eventually you're going to hit a bone with your foot while kicking, whether on an elbow, knee, or on the shin. I have some big veins on top of my foot, and have hit them dead on against elbows at full power breaking the bone. The veins basically burst, the foot puffs up and makes them no longer visible..Eventually after smacking your feet on enough knees, elbows, shins you will develope thick scar tissued monster feet and veins will become less and less visible
But you'll be fine. Veins showing just means lower body fat percentage. Thus meaning that everyone has those veins but yours show. So it makes no difference to you than others.
I have some veins that are like my pinky in diameter. Those ones on the feet sometimes explode whet i kick heavy bag low kick full power. After explosion surrounding tissue gets blue colour and hurts a little. If you have bursted the biggest vein there will be pain during few days. That's the worst scenario.
Fuck it man, Just bust those veins on the heavybag, you don't really need em anyway, your body will find a way to make do without em.
maybe those are not veins he is worrying about around his shins they might be arteries he should check with a doctor if they are veins he is fine if they are ateries i wouldnt recomend contact sports to the shins
Man, hair still grows on your shins? I have a straight line on my shin where I connect on kicks where NO hair grows.
Arteries tend to be buried deeper in the body to prevent superficial injuries from becoming life-threatening. There's no reason for him to think that he has an artery just below the surface of the skin in his leg. Also, you don't need a doctor to tell the difference between an artery and a vein. Arteries have pulses, veins do not.
I can't think of anyone I've met in any sort of decent shape that didn't have exposed veins.

thanks for the response, was just curious
no one wants to be kept out of training
lol yeah. im no doctor but im pretty sure your arteries are not on the surface of your body. youll be fine bruv
