I was surfing for a place the south of were i live to do kickboxing, all i found is a good boxing school but i'd miss the kicks :( i wanna do kickboxing and judo for my mma..anyway,

There's a place my friend goes to, but they dont teach any defence, its only like a fitness type of thing were you only work on the pads.

Should i do this now or miss out on the kicks and do western boxing were they train to compete?

If these are your only two options I'd go with boxing. A cardio kicks class that features no sparring/any sort of focus on defensive techniques isn't going to help you at all outside of cardio itself (and you'll get plenty of that good stuff with boxing anyways).

if they actually teach you correct form id say take a few classes a week at the kickboxing place to learn form and then go to the boxing gym for everything else. im not saying practicing kickboxing once a week on pads will make you an expert, but it will help get your feet into the water when you do find a better school.

If you want to train for MMA, and you plan to add Judo in to your training. The boxing is most definitely your best bet, vs. a sub-par kickboxing studio. The technical footwork, defense, working inside and learning to gauge distance (range) effectively is what a good boxing gym will help you develop, along with a good punch. I think Boxing is the best stand up art to pair with Judo. Positioning in the pocket, working angles, changing levels, hip and shoulder control of the body inside, defensive clinching...etc are all fundamentals of both boxing and judo.

I totally agree to your statements about boxing
