And Reem might fight for the title soon. How fucked up is that? UfC should have thrown their money at Kharitonov
 
They did, he didn't want to sign. Not UFC's fault.
 
He also has a loss to Josh Barnett, Kharitonov would get eaten alive by the likes of Cain, JDS, Hunt, Rothwell, hell even the black beast & big country.
 
Yes he is one of the best Heavyweights, but like most Russian/former Soviet Bloc fighters, It's complicated.
 
Well, he's 1-1 with Overeem, with him getting the last win.

Overeem is seasoned, in the UFC, and would stomp him now.
 
Monson and Barnett were actually legit contenders at one point, guys :)
 
he has fallen since those losses... Would of loved to of seen him in the UFC. Good striking and power in those hands to make waves but Damn did he forget he had a decent ground game?
 
He's gone from an athletic, combination-punching, sambo-grappling former self to a flat-footed brawler just looking to trade shots. Although he's finding some success with it due to his amazing chin and toughness, I don't think it'd serve him well against most top guys, especially those with a good ground game.

Seriously Blackbeast? As for the rest of the list, only Cain would give him real trouble. Kharitonov has an underated chin plus his striking is better than the guys listed and they don't have the ground game to give him any trouble.
 
And Fedor's last opponent, Jaideep, knocked Kharitonov the fuck out.

But I guess he's can anyway.
 
The UFC tried to get Kharitonov at one point and he declined.

They did. $8k/8k after the strikeforce deal. A year ago or so he got a much better offer but decided he would not get a chance to fight often enough in the UFC.
 
Kharinotov don´t sign with Dana because the level of competition in UFC is to low for him.
