Great fight, enjoy the highlights.

I hope Khan fully recovers and the same version of him shows up in his next fight. Canelo's body work slowed Khan by the 6th, you could see the difference in the way he moved. I'm not sure anybody in the welterweight division has the ability to go to the body the way Canelo does, so I believe this version of Khan could potentially be welterweight champ (wouldn't that be something?).

Khan gets a lot of hate but the dude is always exciting.

We should not hate khan, for what its worth, he goes out there and shows some heart. He's not elite but he goes there and fights.

I dont hate Khan, but he did piss me off against Lamont Peterson

Part of that I thought was just Khan being sloppy, but Canelo had to put in some work to make it happen. He was having problems finding his range with his right, but he's a disciplined body puncher. Eventually he slow down Khan just enough to get the job done.

Khan himself did a good job too. It was just a matter of time before Sauls punches took their toll.

This fight also made me remember how much I hate HBO commentators. A crazy knockout and almost no reaction. They spend half the time arguing by themselves.

Danny Garcia does pretty good body work.

Is there anyone here that actually thought Khan was going to win this fight? Khan gave up way too much size and power. The KO was a foregone conclusion, was just a matter of when. Khan did better than he should've been able to do. Khan won the first 4 rounds, due to his speed and lateral movement, but still. He shouldn't have been able to do that. Canelo's ring cutting is pretty damn bad. He wants his opponents to come to him so he can counter and Triple G will be more than happy to do that, starting with a smashing jab to the face to get him against the ropes.

The difference in body work between Golovkin and Canelo is huge. Golovkin's placement and power are something Canelo's doesn't stack up to. Still waiting for official news of the Canelo-Golovkin Middleweight unification fight. Time is ticking. Instead of Cinco de Mayo Golovkin will give Canelo a Cinco de Kayo and GBP knows it.

Canelo was barely throwing anything, he was measuring Khan for the majority of the fight.

Someone like Thurman or Porter will force those kind of mistakes from him every round, just like Algieiri did, and they both have the power to level him.

Canelo has the better body work, GGG dropping a few bums doesn't change that. Canelo will brutalize him up close if he wants to try and exchange body shots.

Triple G has never been dropped in his amateur or pro career. That's 385 bouts total. Canelo is a good fighter but seriously, if this fight happens, you'll see for yourself the difference between their body work. It won't be pretty. And Lemieux isn't a bum.

Canelo won't be allowed to wear a body shield either. ;)

lol @ that username. You're literally saying "Kovalev puts things inside of me." I don't know if you meant that or not but I'm laughing.

Neither has Canelo, who has been fighting pro since he was 15.

You will see the difference between fighting one dimensional B level fighters and fighting an elite fighter who can make you miss and punish you.

Either has Canelo.

Derp.

Canelo has nowhere near that many fights. He started his pro career at like 15 in Mexico. Every real boxing fan knows that Canelo taking this fight is a huge risk with not much reward, at least not yet. This is why he's been told, by Golden Boy and by Floyd, to not fight Golovkin. Everybody's been whispering in his ear but he already knows since they've sparred before years back.

Canelo isn't even beating guys his own size. One day he's a Junior Middleweight and the next he's talking like he's a Middleweight 160 pounder. He needs to make his mind up already. This catchweight crap is getting old and his own fans have turned on him, many of them. In fact, due to Triple G's "Mexican Style" (been around for over a century), he's garnered even more Mexican fans than Canelo has and Golovkin is a Kazakh.

My username is something funny that Sergey got called out on by Radio Raheem/Rahim in an interview. If you follow Kovalev then you'd know what it means. You assumed wrong because you're clearly quite immature.

Here's what it means

Sergey, like many European men, carries around a man bag (man purse). He didn't realize that most Americans view it as a woman's purse and that it appears feminine to do.
