As I write this, the top 3 threads on this forum are about Khamzat. 11 of the top 25 mention him.

His fight had 90% of the hype and talk before 273. After his tough victory and worse than expected performance, the MMA community has been talking about him nonstop.

That right there proves he has already won. In the world of prize fighting, he has established himself as a can’t miss fighter. He captivates the mind of both his fans and his haters even after his fights are over. So keep that in mind when you talk about how he “fights like an idiot” being so aggressive, or how stupid his “smesh everyone” gimmick is. He’s already more popular and cared about than any champ in this whole promotion. And he’s going to be paid a fortune in the coming years.

All of that goes away if he loses though. All hyped prospects have had these type of times with tons of threads being made about them every day, but the moment they lose they're not of interest anymore.

He definitely has potential to make some good money before he retires in a couple of years.

What matters in that sense is how many casuals talk about him so they'll buy his cards and put money into his pockets. What some basement dwelling tards with no money to spend on him will write on a karate forum doesn't mean much.
