Gunnar gets hit a lot. Good grappler and might present a good test on the ground for Chimaev, but he shouldn’t try to strike.

He's already completely crushed the 3 guys they gave him. They've pushed shittier prospects quicker. Let this guy lay waste to someone in the 6-10 range then fight a top5.

There are numerous guys he could fight in the top15 that are of no interest to me because he'd easily beat them...like Lawler who is 15th.

Khamzat would beat him easily. he is done.

Diaz, Pettis, RDA.....all those guys would be wrecked by him.

IMO this would be a showcase fight for Khamzat. Gunnar is one of these guys with an aesthetically pleasing style but actually kinda sucks. Also, his reputation is increased because of his association with McGregor.

I think UFC would like to have Khamzat fight someone with a number beside their name, so they can justify giving Khamzat a number

I’m all for Chimaev tearing through everybody. It’d make for an exciting time. And he has looked great, so far. That being said, who knows how he’ll look once he faces really good competition. Or even specialists like Maia or to a lesser degree Gunnar.

I mean, two of Gunnar's weaknesses are his wrestling and slow starts, so yeah, I'd have to go with Khamzat.
