Always a little mind blowing that Jon's entire pre-UFC professional career lasted exactly 3 months. Absurd
If we tracked their records over a set period of time rather by number of fights it would look pretty lopsided.

In his first 4 years of fighting (2008-2011)Jones went 15-1, 9-1 in the UFC with every win being a finish, won the UFC title by finishing the champ, and defended twice finishing 2 of the previous 4 champs.

In the first 4 years of fighting (2018-2021) Khamzat went 10-0, 4-0 in the UFC with every win being a finish.

Hard to compare.

I rank a win over Shogun slightly higher than over Whittaker, but both very very impressive

Obviously Jones, he got that W against the Legendary Porky Porter, which is more impressive than any of Khamzat win.

I feel that response, my bad that came out wrong. Khamzat beat 2 world champs while Jones beat only 1. I meant no disrespect to shogun 😅.

Former champs..
JBJ beat the actual champ and won the belt.

Jon became champion in 3 years while still in his early 20s.

Khamzat's had 6 years and is in his 30s.

How is this even a question?
And let's not pretend Khamzat ran through prime Usman or prime Whittaker. Still good wins cause they're experienced, but Rob is in his way down and Usman is beyond shot.

How are people saying khamzat. Beating the current champ and becoming world champion is better than beating a former champ.

Fighting fair with regards to fouls is more impressive, than cheating with regards to fouls.

The double standards are just mind boggling to me. They keep moving the goal post. How are we comparing light heavy weight champion Shogun to one foot out the door Whittaker? Half of the audience thought Usman and Burns beat him. The only way this can even be remotely close, is if you count the DQ with Hamill as a legitimate loss.

The mauling that Belal Muhammad was able to put on Leon Edwards, where Usman could hardly outwrestle him in their second fight let me know that headshot changed Usman for good. And then with Whittaker, in that one fight he for some reason gave up the moment Du Plessis got a hold of him like the guy had super strength-- that was the most bizarre performance to me.

Eh the cheating thing is more a goat disqualifier for me.
