    - Deiveson Figueiredo, Brandon Moreno agree to fight at UFC 256

    - Joaquin Buckley shows up at UFC 255, a few weeks after his viral KO

And so on, and so forth ...

We have one man to thank for this radical change in which fighters are approaching the game and their downtime between fights.

Lots of quick turnarounds because of COVID.

Kevin Holland doing 5 fights May 16-December 5
Bobby Green did 4 fights June 20-October 31

I noticed it starting with Charles Rosa in the Florida events. Then Jimmie Rivera when he made a quick turnaround after UFC 238.

It also has to do with the way COVID has affected card making.

Its left a space open for willing fighters to shine where before, they wouldnt have the same oppurtunities.

I mean, some guys used to fight 2-3 times a night. This shit ain't new, but it's good to see some frequency again. 1-2 fights every 2 years is number one bullshit.

It’s wide open right now and if you can draw a crowd ($) by KO’ing people, Dana will let you fight every day if he can.

It's just because of covid. I hope it goes back to normal soon. recovery time is important to longevity and health of a fighter.

If this becomes standard, they'll be shorter athletic primes.

Not to mention fight quality might become ass if it becomes common with not enough gameplanning and skirt training camps.

But I do commend the guys doing it and trying to secure the bag

He would probably prefer to fight all of em in one night if he was dominating all the time. He took no damage in any of those fights. Now that he's going after Leon,i dont think we will see him fight so often. His name is out there now,he doesnt have to.

If he starches Leon like he did the other guys,well...

    hm.

Yup, fighters definitely took notice and tried to replicate.

    Felder last weekend for example.
