If you remember from way back, there was a point where Diego Sanchez had an undefeated 15-0 streak with wins over Nick Diaz, Karo Parysian, Joe Riggs. He was a TUF winner and was thought to be the uncrowned champ at the time.

But true knowledgeable MMA fans knew that the streak meant nothing. Just by watching him fight, the real MMA fans knew that he wasn't that good and would be exposed soon enough. The guy has been a punching bag ever since his first loss.

And the true MMA fans of today knows that Khabib's undefeated streak is just smokes and mirror. Khabib is a one dimensional fighter with a opportunistic win streak. His striking is very bad, I mean very very bad. His jab is as good as a middle schooler who got enrolled in a boxing class for 3 months. His takedowns heavily rely on power (even his trips require a lot of power) and will not work against the elite. A win over Al Quinta is suppose to make him the champ? I don't think so. 26 fights with no quality wins, he will be exposed very soon and I will be back to say I told you so.
 
Kinda feel like it's obvious to all that he is worlds better than diego ever was.

Diego was the C version of Khabib. Sloppy striking, Iron chin, excels at top-game grappling. Khabib just is a much better athlete & technical wrestler. And stronger.

1st off, Diego was awesome back in the day. Secondly, Khabib is awesome now.

Also, lol at his TDs won't work vs the elite. Do you even watch fights?
 
He just walks forward with his head up. His striking is weak and Conor will KO him.
 
Diego was too stubborn for his own good. His move from Jackson’s, killer cut to 155, abandoning his wrestling - there were many points where a cooler head (and better management/friends) should have prevailed.

Khabib’s striking is sub-par, but he is composed, and (aside from past weight cut fails) seems to have his career / gameplan on a clear course.

His "championship" is a joke. Didn't fight the champ or interim champ to get his belt. Fighting someone outside of the top 10 shouldn't get you awarded a title.
 
Khabib fought way better talent leading up to his belt, has a better ground game and won’t get muscled by larger opponents like Diego tended to.

The more you skeptics talk shit, the worse you look. Every fighter knows the score; he’s coming in to fight with the same recipe as last time and nobody can do anything to stop him.
